The youngest of 4 kids, I grew up on a farm near Madison, MN so I was born into the life of working hard. We raised feeder cattle, hogs, chickens, geese, rabbits, had family pets: dogs, cats, even a Parakeet named Charlie. We gardened, were in 4-H, & took part in weekly church activities.
Since I could drive, I worked. After graduating from LqPV High School, I attended & graduated from SMSU, Marshall, MN with honors obtaining degrees in Business Administration Finance & Accounting. During those years I typically worked not 1, but 2 jobs. After college I worked for a Credit Counseling firm near San Diego, CA; & the next 22+ years in the office of a Construction General Contractor. I learned the importance of finding resolve to every problem whether with personnel, construction, or business.
It has been instilled in me to avoid the word “Can’t”.
With construction experience & dabbling in buying, fixing & selling my own homes, I decided to take the leap into real estate. It has supplied me an insight & connection to people I didn’t know I had in me to appreciate. It’s so rewarding to help clients move onto the next stages in their life as home ownership is the most valuable asset most have & largest element of change in that process. I dedicate my skills, loyalty & work ethic to serve clients so that by closing, they are not only satisfied with the process, but also trust me enough to refer to friends & family.
In my free time I enjoy camp fires, lawn work & long walks in the summers; And Cooking, listening to a variety of music & cozying up to my cat, looking at Pinterest (home décor) watching “Friends” when weather is cooler. I have many nieces & nephews I babysat, watched grow up & acquired the name Aunt JoJo.
